Youth And Sports Department’s Football Tournament Boots off Tomorrow

With the game of Football being in a stagnated state on the island of Nevis, the Youth and Sports Department has taken the initiative to revive the sport.
The Department will be hosting a tournament, open to the major teams on the island, commencing tomorrow—Saturday 8th December.
According to the Director of Sports, Mr. Jamir Claxton, the grand finals will be played on December 23rd.
In a simple ceremony held on Tuesday 4th December, a draw was made to determine the two groups for the competing teams.
The result of the draw is as follows:
Group A: Hardtimes; Stoney Grove Strikers; Youths of the Future and Highlights Int
Group B: Bath United; Cotton Ground Pioneers; Villa United and 767 Boys.
The first game is expected to commence tomorrow evening at 6 pm at the ET Willet Park.
