The West Indies women Rising stars, suffered their first loss in the ongoing women’s under 19 world cup, preliminary matches, when they were comprehensively beaten by New Zealand, on Thursday.
West Indies batted first and things started to go horribly wrong when the in-form Zaida James was caught for just 5.
The Windies girls could only muster 68 all out in 19.2 overs, and the young KIWI lasses knocked it off in just 7.2 overs, for no loss.
However, the Windies Rising stars will still progress to the next stage of the tournament, on the back of their two previous victories.
