(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- Analdo ‘Nandy’ Browne of Rawlins Pasture, Newcastle is no longer wanted by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force.
Nevispages understands that on Monday, February 24, 2014 Browne turned himself in at the Basseterre Police Station in St. Kitts.
Browne became a ‘wanted man’ after he refused to be searched at the Charlestown pier on Saturday, February 22, 2014. It was reported that an officer approached Browne on suspicion of controlled drugs, arms and ammunition and while he was about to conduct the search, Browne ran. It is alleged that a firearm fell from his waist which was later retrieved by the officer.
The 28 year old was able to escape police custody. However, two days after the escape Browne walked inside of the Basseterre Police Station and surrendered.
