Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 03, 2018 (RSCNPF): During a stop and search exercise on Monday in Fortlands, April 30, Police Officers searched motor car P3267 which is owned by Josh Skerrit-Holmes of Buckley’s who was the passenger at the time. The vehicle was being driven by Kyle Ferdinand of Mattingley Heights.
During the search a quantity of green vegetable material suspected to be cannabis was found on both individuals and a quantity of white powdery substance suspected to be cocaine was found in the vehicle.
On Tuesday, May 01, Skerritt-Holmes and Ferdinand were both charged for the offences of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis With Intent to Supply, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine With Intent to Supply. Each received bail on Tuesday in the sum of $5,000 with two sureties for their appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court on June 04, 2018.
Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
