Twenty Calypsonians to compete on Sunday for the Quarter Finals

(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- A total of twenty (20) calypsonians are slated to compete on Sunday, July 20, 2014 in an effort to perform in front of hundreds of people on the night of Sunday, August 3, 2014.

Later this evening, the kaisonians will assemble at NEPAC, to pick their number in which order they will perform on Sunday night.

Mr. Keith Glasgow informed this media house that on Sunday, July 20, 2014 the Quarter Finals is schedule to take place at the Herbert’s Beach from 6:00 p.m.

According to him, if all the kaisonians who registered turns up on Sunday to perform, a total of six (6) will be eliminated and will not be able to compete in the semi-finals. He further stated that the judges are judging, for the best nine (9) singers to be in the finals.

Fans and calypo lovers are disappointed that Meeko will not competing in this year’s C40 festival. However, Glasgow is inviting everyone to Herbert’s Beach on Sunday to see big men ‘rumble’. He promises a great show.
