As per usual, there was much hype and activity at the Charlestown Secondary School, as the school hosted its annual cross country races, on Friday 16th February.
The colourful attire; the loud screams and shouts, were nothing new.
At the end of it all, T’Anna Liburd starred in the junior girls; Alexander Caines broke the record for the junior boys; Teneisha Perkins took gold in the senior girls and Timothy Caines set a new record for the senior boys. This was the most competitive race of the day, as he was challenged by some of the other top athletes at the school.

The Charlestown Secondary School will host its annual Sports meet, tomorrow Tuesday 20th February at the ET Willet Park.
