Three youthful Nevisians left Nevis via sea taxi on Sunday 22nd July, en route to the RLB airport in St. Kitts, as they headed off to join their other team mates who have been selected to the Leeward Islands under 19 team, to participate in the regional Cricket tournament, hosted by the West Indies Cricket Board.
The three young cricketers are: Jelani Manners; Justin Armadan and Windies under 19 speedster, Kian Pemberton.
They were accompanied by parents and siblings who all wished them well. Coach Gerard TRINI Charles was also on hand to see off and encourage the players.
They all vowed to put in such performances, as to warrant a pick on the West Indies under 19 team.
The tournament will be played in St. Vincent shortly.
