(BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS) – When news of a murder circulates within the Federation, one quickly assumes that it is gun related. However, this was not the case of the death of a Parray’s Village resident.
Police in St. Kitts are currently investigating the fatal wounding of 19 year old Kevon Gordon. According to a police press release, the deceased was involved in a dispute with his girlfriend which resulted in him suffering stab wounds. He was transported to the JNF Hospital where he lost the battle for his life.
The incident took place yesterday, Sunday, February 9, 2014 at about 10:30 a.m.
The release also stated that one suspect is in police custody assisting with the investigation. The person is identified as Idalia Williams.
Commissioner C.G. Walwyn who visited Gordon’s family at the hospital is asking all persons in the Federation to please seek help for domestic issues by contacting the various Social Services.
On behalf of the entire Police Force, Commissioner Walwyn, extended his deepest condolences to Mr. Gordon’s family during this sad hour in their lives.
