A (15) fifteen member contingent of athletes and officials will this week be heading to the Cayman Islands, to represent St. Kitts & Nevis, at the 2019 CARIFTA Games, which will be staged at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex, George Town, Grand Cayman.
Heading the delegation is Coach Llewellyn Pyke, who will be assisted by Female Chaperone, Ms. Meritzer Williams.
The team of athletes includes the defending Under 17 800m champion from the 2018 Games, Trishanie Warner.
In addition to Warner, the full slate of athletes is comprised of Demitri Browne, Zharia Allers, Jahnazza Francis, Cadeau Straun, Sharim Hamilton, Alexander Caines, Leroy Chapman, Tijuanique Morton, Que’Leel Roberts, K-Anthony Benjamin, Akadianto Willett, K-Marley Newton-Roberts.
Team St. Kitts and Nevis, which was finalized on Friday, 12th April, will compete in various events, including, Long Jump, 200M, 400H, 800M, Javelin, 4x100m relay and the 4x400m relay.
The team is due to return to St. Kitts on Tuesday, 23rd April.
