The West Indies Women will have to square off against South Africa in their three-match Twenty20 (T20) International series without their captain Stafanie Taylor, who is in isolation in Antigua after being identified as a primary contact of someone with COVID-19 in Jamaica.
The Windies Women are scheduled to take on South Africa in the first of three T20 internationals starting Tuesday, with the game set to bowl off at 1 p.m. Jamaica time.
In her absence, Trinidadian Anisa Mohammed will lead the team with Deandra Dottin acting as her deputy. Also, included in the 13-member squad is Jamaicans Chinelle Henry and Chedean Nation.
