St Kitts Traffic Court Convictions

At a session of the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 31, 2024, presided over by Her Honor Mrs Shelly-Anne Liburd-Charles, the following individuals were convicted and fined for driving without due care and attention:

1. Calvin Crooke of Carifesta Village was fined $1,500, payable within one month, or he will face 14 days of imprisonment.
2. Chad Mohan of Lodge was fined $1,500, payable within three months, or in default, he will serve 14 days of imprisonment.
3. Jarvon Silcott of Keys was fined $2,000, payable within one month, or he will face 30 days of imprisonment.
4. Bertram Tweede of Bird Rock received a $2,000 fine, payable within one month, or he will serve 30 days if unpaid.
5. Takia Stanley of West Farm was fined $1,000, payable within two months, or she would face 14 days of imprisonment.

Fifteen traffic tickets were withdrawn upon payment, and fourteen other matters were postponed to various future dates.
