St. Kitts Health Services Sector ICT Project

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) entered into an Agreement on 30th August 2023 with Mr. Garvin Newton a local Systems Engineer, to act as the Verification Officer for the St Kitts Health Services Sector ICT Project.

Mr. Newton is an experienced Systems Engineer with an impressive list of accomplishments who will bring a wealth of knowledge to this Project. Mr. Newton will be acting on behalf of the NTRC during the first component of the project.

The first component is the building of a Wide Area Network (WAN) between Joseph N. France General Hospital and the other sixteen (16) Clinics and health facilities in St Kitts.

The Contract to build the WAN was awarded to St. Kitts-Nevis Cable Communications Ltd. (The Cable) and signed on 2nd June 2023. The project aims to deliver universal access to Information and Communications Technology Services to all primary users of Hospitals, Clinics and other health facilities.
