The annual cross country events for the St. James Primary School were held on the morning of Friday 17th February.
The junior athletes started at the school’s gate and ran as far as the Butlers Health center, before racing back to the school and the senior boys and girls started the same route but continued past the Health Center and up and through the village, before exiting back onto the main road close to the Health center and racing back to the school.
A number of parents and siblings showed up to support the athletes in the quest for excellence.
