Friday 21st of July saw the conclusion of the summer Tennis camp, hosted by the Nevis Sports Department.
A brief ceremony was ably chaired by Sports officer, Kerisha Powell and included remarks by head coach, Anthony Webbe.
They both indicated that the two-week camp commenced on Monday 10th July and on a daily basis catered for just over twenty-five participants, ranging in age from 5 to 15 years.
They were taught the basics of Tennis, including how to hold the racket, forehand and backhand strokes, etc.
The children all received participation certificates and some of them testified as to their enjoyment of the camp and spoke about what they had learned.
