Yesterday, we celebrated a significant milestone in our commitment to serving and protecting our community! The Social Security Board of St. Kitts and Nevis generously donated a brand-new vehicle to the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF), enhancing our ability to respond swiftly to the needs of our citizens.
The handover ceremony took place at the Police Training Complex, where the keys were ceremoniously presented to Commissioner of Police James Sutton by Deputy Director of the Social Security Board, Mrs Mellicia Wilkins Phillip. The ceremony was also attended by Mrs. Coressa Adams Williams, Chief Financial Officer, and Ms. Nordia Demming, a member of the Social Security Board’s Corporate Communications Team.
In her heartfelt speech, Mrs. Phillip passionately emphasized the vital role that access to proper resources plays in strengthening law enforcement efforts. She expressed the Social Security Board’s genuine pleasure in being able to assist the RSCNPF in enhancing its capacity to fulfil its duties to the community. Furthermore, she underscored the unwavering support that the Social Security Board continues to provide to our dedicated force, reinforcing our shared commitment to the safety and security of our communities.
Commissioner Sutton expressed his deep gratitude for this generous donation, acknowledging the invaluable contributions of the Social Security Board over the years. He reaffirmed our commitment to maintaining a strong partnership, working together for the safety and well-being of our federation.
