(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- Workers on the Hanley’s Road Rehabilitation Project were shocked to discover a snake on Wednesday, May 6, 2015.
Excavation work was being done in the area close to the Hanley’s Road Superette, when the reptile was spotted.
It is said that the snake which was about Six feet in length, was first seen by workers of the Water Department, who were in the process of putting in new pipes as part of the road project.
Reports are that the snake, which caused quite a scare, was eventually killed.
