(BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS) – The teenager who was gunned down at the Joseph N. France General Hospital in St. Kitts has succumbed to his gunshot juries.
Nineteen year old Kaheel Herbert of Lower Thibou Avenue was attacked and gunned down by two assailants last night Monday, September 22, 2014 while he was seeking medical attention at the hospital.
Herbert received multiple gunshot injuries to his body while running from his attackers.
The perpetrators then made their escape on foot.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force are extending sympathy to the Herbert’s family on their loss.
In a police press release issued by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, the police are seeking the assistance of the general public to help them find the perpetrators. According to the release, ‘this behavior is not acceptable and should never be accepted’.
The release further stated that, ‘This was an attack on the people of the Federation and we must all become incensed and identify the persons responsible. We must no longer remain silent even though these can be family members. They have shown that they have no respect for life and must be apprehended’.
Persons are asked to call Crime stoppers at 1 800 8477 and give any information they may have on the incident, no matter how insignificant that piece of information may seem.
Persons who call Crime stoppers must note that Crime stoppers would not ask your name, nor would they know the telephone number from which you called. Persons are asked to please assist the police to get these two men off the streets.
