Shanika Joshua and Arundell Dore crowned Miss Culture Swimwear and Mr. Kool 2015 respectively

(CHARLESTOWN NEVIS)- Hundreds of persons came out came out to the Nevis Cultural Complex on the night of Thursday, July 30, 2015 to witness the Ms Culture Swimwear and the Mr. Kool pageants.
It was indeed a night of fierce competition, when five Ms Swimwear contestants and five Mr. Kool participants, took to the stage to determine who would walk away with the coveted titles.
At the end of the night, capturing most points from the judges was Ms. Shanika Joshua, winning the Miss Swimwear competition; while Mr. Arundell Dore was crowned Mr. Kool 2015.
The competition commenced with a steaming hot, well-choreographed fanfare with all ten participants. The Ms. Culture Swimwear participants were then judged in three segments, one- piece, two-piece and creative wear. The Mr. Kool contestants were judged on beachwear, talent and Mr. Kool GQ Wear and Interview.
The ladies rocked the stage displaying exceptional physique, modeling skills and creativity. However at the end of the keenly contested competition, Shanika Joshua defeated her competitors. Joshua won Best two-piece wear and gained an overall tally of 600.5 points. She won Ms. Photogenic and was also voted as the most popular contestant.
First runner up was awarded to Kenisha Phillip who gained a total of 600 points. Phillip was victorious in the creative wear segment. In second runner up position was Raven Richards, with a total of 596 points. Richards defeated her opponents in the one-piece category. The other contestants who participated were, Karimah Lake and Shirnaldeen Lewis.
Arundell Dore, who was voted most popular contestant, took the Mr. Kool title with a total of 801 points. He won best beachwear; best GQ Wear and Mr. Photogenic.
Wricherley Gumbs placed first runner up with 787 points. Gumbs captivated the crowd with his amazing talent by way of dramatizing. He also captured the interview segment. In second position was Jevon Romney with a total of 706 points. The other participants who competed were Romaine Mills and Delville Mills.
