TAKE A BOW: Rihanna has joined illustrious company with her single sales (PA)
RIHANNA HAS made history by becoming one of just three acts to top the UK singles chart seven times over seven years.
It is a feat only The Beatles and Elvis Presley have managed to do before the Bajan megastar.
Her latest duet with Eminem on The Monster sailed to number one, leaving boyband One Direction trailing behind at number four with their new release, Story Of My Life.
The Monster is Eminem’s first number one hit since 2006.
Their previous collaboration Love the Way You Lie made it to number two in the charts back in 2010.
The single is from the rapper’s latest album Marshall Mathers LP 2, which will be released on November 5.
