Report OF Arrests, Convictions And Other Activities

Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 25, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period July 21-23, 2018.

ARRESTS AND BAIL: 

Arrested: Donald Cornelius Jr. of Stoney Grove was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Larceny and Receiving. 

Arrested: Jermaine Carey of Tabernacle Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Cultivation of Cannabis.

Arrested: Neville Fahie of Newton Ground was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cocaine.

Arrested: Shawn Hodge of Saddlers was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to supply. 

Arrested: Morgan Davis of Jessup’s Villagewas arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Disorderly Conduct and Battery. 

Arrested: Terrone Nisbett of Jessup’s Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Disorderly Conduct.

Arrested: Clinton Matthew of East Street, Newtown was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny.

Arrested/Bailed: Lindel Gonzeley of Pond Pasture, Newtown was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving Without Insurance and Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on September 03, 2018.

Bailed: Shawn Hodge of Saddlers Village who was charged for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on September 03, 2018.

COURT CONVICTIONS:

In matters at the Basseterre Magistrate Court, presided over by His Honour Reynold Benjamin, the following were reported:

Devon Millard of Upper Cayon was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis and was ordered to pay $4,000 in five (5) months or, in default, serve six (6) months in prison. He was also convicted for Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and was ordered to pay $6,000 in  nine (9) months or, in default, serve twelve (12) months in prison. 

– Charles ‘Charlzy’ Liburd of Upper College Street Ghaut pleaded guilty to the offence of Wounding and  was ordered to pay $1,000 in one (1) month or, in default, serve four (4) months in prison.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Upper Market Street, Tabernacle Village and Monkey Hill.
