Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 06, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period March 02-05, 2018.
ARRESTS AND BAIL:
Arrested: Juvel Webster of Farm Site, Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
Arrested: Mekel Mills of Bath Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
Arrested: Trey Mills of Hermitage Estate was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
Arrested: Reno Parris of Cherry Gardens Housing Project was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
Arrested: Jimmy Allen of Basseterre was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Receiving committed between October 06–30, 2017.
Arrested: Elroy Richards of Ponds Extension was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm committed on February 27, 2018.
Arrested: Devon “Rebel” Millard of River Ghaut, Upper Cayon was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Cultivation of Cannabis.
Arrested: Devon Millard of Upper Cayon was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Cultivation of Cannabis.
COURT CONVICTIONS:
In Matters at the Basseterre Magistrate Court, presided over by His Honour Reynold Benjamin, the following persons were convicted:
– Lindbergh Belle of Dorset Village was convicted and cautioned for Careless Driving.
– Alejandra Montanez of Bird Rock was convicted and fined $750 to be paid forthwith for Driving Without Policy Insurance. He was convicted and cautioned for the offence of Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Licence.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Caunt Street, Chicken Stone, Monkey Hill, McKnight, New Road, Cherry Gardens Project, Bath Village, Hermitage Estate, King Street, Laguerite, Taylors, Temple Alley, Harris’s and Mad House Alley.
Abandoned Properties Searched: Police continued to execute searches on properties. Most recently they were done in areas of Blue Crescent, Upper Shaw Avenue and St. Pauls.
Marijuana Plants Uprooted: Officers of the Anti-Narcotics Unit, K9 Unit and a member of the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) reported that they uprooted twenty (21) marijuana plants ranging from seedlings to 2ft in height on an empty lot at Caunt Street. They also reported that they uprooted thirty-two (32) marijuana plants ranging from seedlings to 3ft in height on an empty lot at Prickle Pear Alley.
