Manhattan, New York (SKNIS): In a significant step toward strengthening bilateral ties, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, the Honourable Dr Terrance Drew, and Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas, engaged in high-level discussions with His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana.
The meeting, held on Sunday, 22 September 2024, at the United Nations Headquarters, focused on expanding the already flourishing relationship between the two nations, including the reciprocation of visa-free access, fostering deeper collaboration with Ghana, and future areas of cooperation.
The bilateral discussions highlighted shared interests in expanding trade, investment, and cultural exchanges, with both leaders emphasising the importance of mutual respect and a forward-looking approach to foreign relations.
Prime Minister Dr. Drew conveyed optimism about the potential of the talks to strengthen collaboration across key sectors such as trade, education, and visa-free access, aimed at facilitating greater connectivity between the two nations.
