Preparation on the way at E.T Willett Park

Work crews at the E.T Willett Park continue to work feverishly in preparing the prestigious venue for a major upcoming event.

The FIFA under seventeen women’s group three qualifying clash will take place at the ET Willet Park from Saturday 22nd August through to Wednesday 26th August.
Renovation work is being done at the change rooms for the teams and a VIP section has been constructed in the top tier of the main pavilion.

Groundsman Errol ‘Jabal’ Walwyn has also been working overtime on the maintenance of the main square area and the grass is generally looking a lot greener than usual.

The teams involved are BVI; St.Kitts and Nevis; Trinidad and Tobago and Dominica.

The matches will be played on Saturday 22nd; Monday 24th and Wednesday 26th August, with two matches on each night, with the first one starting at 5.30 pm and the second at 8.00 pm.

The local organizing committee is also in the process of making final preparations for the big event and arrangements for accommodation of the teams have also been finalized.

The teams are set to arrive on Nevis on Thursday 20th August.
