Sunday, December 26th, 2021 saw the return of the Ball In Hand Pool Tournament at 8 Ball Sports Bar – Cedar Trees. The tournament saw participation by 19 players.
Several key sponsors made the tournament not only possible but very lucrative
The prizes up for grabs were
First Place – $1500 & Winners Trophy
Second Place – $1000
Third Place -$500
Fourth Place – Dinner for two at Sunshine’s Bar & Grill
At the end of the tournament, the top spots were as follows:
First Place – Cynric Carey
Second Place – Randolph “Runnings” Liburd
Third Place – Mikey Seaton
Fourth Place – Wesley “West” Huggins
Humanitarian awards on behalf of the management of 8 Ball Sports Bar were presented to 3 long-standing pool shooters who each would have played the game for over 40 years, thanking them for their invaluable contribution to the growth and development of the game of pool.
The recipients of the awards were:
Randolph “Runnings” Liburd – Man of Wisdom Award
Raoul “Wolf” Archibald – Master of the Bands
Donald Cornelius – Lion Heart Award
Token of appreciation was also given to Randy Samaroo for his contribution towards the continued organization of tournaments.
