On June 13, 2024, officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police (RSCNPF) conducted a search of two uninhabited lots of land in the area of Church Ground, Nevis.
During the search, they recovered a .40 Taurus pistol containing fourteen rounds of matching ammunition. The Crime Scene Unit (CSU) processed the scene, and the illegal items were confiscated. The RSCNPF is continuing to investigate to establish where the firearm and ammunition came from and whether they are linked to recent criminal activities on Nevis.
