Basseterre, St. Kitts: The police received a report of a shooting at Tabernacle Village around 10:25 pm on August 1, 2024, and promptly responded. Initial investigations revealed that Mr Dean Boddie was walking through the playing field in Tabernacle Village just after 10:00 pm when he was approached by an assailant who fired several shots at him.
Despite sustaining multiple gunshot injuries, Mr Boddie managed to escape his attacker and collapsed near the Tabernacle Primary School. He was then rushed to the JNF Hospital, where he underwent emergency treatment. Mr Boddie is currently in critical but stable condition at the hospital.
