On July 31, 2024, at approximately 2:45 pm, the Police responded to a robbery at the ‘7 Days’ Chinese Supermarket in Lodge Village, BASSETERRE, St. Kitts.
Two armed and masked gunmen entered the supermarket and demanded money from the cashier, who is a Chinese national. During the robbery, one of the assailants struck the cashier on the head with his firearm. The robbers then proceeded to steal liquor, pastries, tobacco, and an undisclosed sum of cash.
The Crime Scene Unit processed the scene as the investigation continues. The police are appealing to anyone with information that could help with this investigation to contact the Division B CID at 662-5862 or the crime hotline at 707.
