CHARLESTOWN, Nevis: At approximately 4:30 p.m. on August 8, 2024, a traffic accident occurred on Main Street, Charlestown, near Lower Prince William Street. The incident involved a motor pick-up (PA-4828) driven by Irvine Pinney of Zion Village and a pedestrian, Eustace Queeley of Upper Prince William Street.
The investigation revealed that the driver of the pick-up was exiting Prince William Street when he collided with a pedestrian on Main Street. Eustace Queeley was transported by ambulance to Alexandra Hospital, where he was treated and warded in stable condition.
