Poetry Night and More Set for St. Thomas’ Anglican School Room
St. Thomas’ Parish— The general public is in for a grand treat, tomorrow Saturday 23rd February.
On that evening, starting at 6 pm, the Community Development Department, will host a night featuring various cultural acts.
According to chief coordinator of the event, Miss Denesia Smithen, some of Nevis’ top Poets such as Earl PANCHO Morton; Hansel Manners, TAFARI and many more, will be on stage.
Additionally, there will be modelling and dancing acts, along with some singers who will perform mainly negro spirituals, which will add colour to the evening’s entertainment package.
Miss Smithen also noted that there will be food and drink on sale, as the event will also serve as a fund raiser for the upcoming St. Thomas’ Fes’.
The two MC’S for the evening, will be the combination of Chesley Manners and Curtis Morton, who are also expected to share their poetic skills
