Obama says he warned Putin to ‘cut it out’ over US election hacking

President Barack Obama suggested on Friday (16 December) that Russian President Vladimir Putin authorised the cyberattacks targeting the Democratic National Committee and other political organisations in an alleged attempt to interfere in the US election.
