The inform Ross Powell and Saeed Williams dominated the bowling of the Nevis Masters in a practice match at the ET Willet Park on Tuesday 16th July.
The match which was arranged by National Coach Stuart Williams, was organized mainly to give the youngsters some practice.
The under 19’s batted first and scored a competitive 111 for 1 in the allotted 20 overs.
Williams and Powell almost batted right through the innings with Williams unfortunately run out as the overs ran out.
When the Masters’ team batted, they soon found themselves in early trouble when Curtis Morton was run out in the second over and then he was immediately followed by guest player, Kieran Powell who was caught by wicketkeeper Dymon Parris off the bowling of a jubilant Clydre Smithen.
The youngsters celebrated as if Christmas had come early.
Thereafter, wickets fell regularly and a brief cameo by Sterling Heyliger did not cause the youngsters to panic as they duly wrapped up the game in grand style.

Nevis under 19’s winning by 37 runs
