Prospect, Nevis – A brief but very significant ceremony was held at the Cecely Browne Integrated School, on the afternoon of Friday, January 29, 2021.
On the occasion of its first anniversary of operations, the management of Nevis Tire World presented certain gifts to the school. The gifts included: A cheque with an undisclosed amount; a number of masks; cupcakes and soft drinks.
The presentation was made by Mr. Rumanchal Munsie aka NISHAL.
He noted that it was all about giving back to the community and the school was chosen as a first priority. He explained that the business continues to grow and will not be limited to dealing with tyres, in the near future and he used the opportunity to ask for the continued patronage of the general public.
Accepting the gifts, on behalf of the Education Department, Education Officer, responsible for the school, Mrs. Terez Dore, pointed out that the gifts were timely and will be utilized by the staff members and children. She thanked the Nevis Tire World, for the meaningful gesture.
Headmistress Violet Clarke, also expressed delight on receiving the gifts and asked the Tire World to remain a partner with her institution.
