Press Release: The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force
The police are investigating a shooting homicide that took place in Hamilton, Nevis on September 11th, 2024, between 4 PM and 5 PM.
The incident resulted in the death of Lawvinton Forbes, a 31-year-old resident of Hamilton.
Initial inquiries suggest that Mr. Forbes was attacked and shot multiple times by unknown assailants while sitting in his car outside his home.
He was then taken to the Alexandria Hospital by private vehicle, but unfortunately, his injuries were extensive and he passed away shortly after arrival.
The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) processed the scene and collected several pieces of evidence.
The public will be kept informed as the investigation progresses.
