Netball : World Championship Coming to St. Kitts And Nevis

Allister Thompson, Vice President of the St. Kitts-Nevis Netball Association, has confirmed that an exciting men’s netball international tournament will be hosted in St. Kitts and Nevis in September. This will be the second edition of the bi-annual men’s international Netball tournament.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from September 12th to 18th, with matches played in St. Kitts and Nevis and the finals to be held in Nevis.

Countries participating in the tournament include the host St. Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad, England, USA, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Grenada, Jamaica, and Antigua & Barbuda.

The English team will compete in the tournament, however, they will not be eligible to compete for the grand winner’s trophy.

The tournament will also serve as a qualifier for the Central Americas Caribbean Games, scheduled for 2025 in Santo Domingo. The top five teams from this tournament will advance to the 2025 Games.

Spectators will be charged $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children per game night. There will be four games each night, with the first starting at 5:45 pm, the second at 6:00 pm, the third at 7:45 pm, and the final game at 8:00 pm, with two courts being utilized simultaneously.

It was further mentioned that the St. Kitts and Nevis team has been in training for the past three months. Many sponsors have contributed to make the hosting of this tournament possible and are greatly appreciated.
