The second edition of the Americas Male Netball tournament began on Thursday, September 12 in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Grenada defeated the USA 48-23 in a match played at 6:30 am. The evening started with a flag-raising ceremony hosted by Ms Jaedee Caines, with former netballer Dame Marcella Liburd, now Governor-General of St. Kitts and Nevis, making the ceremonial centre pass.
The first match saw St. Kitts and Nevis facing off against Antigua and Barbuda, with the home team winning 41-27. In the other matches of the evening, Trinidad and Tobago beat St. Vincent and the Grenadines 55-37, and Jamaica secured a 30-27 win over England.
The tournament will continue in Nevis on Friday, September 13 with the following matches:
– Jamaica vs. Grenada at 5 pm
– St. Kitts and Nevis vs. St. Vincent and the Grenadines at 5:10 pm
– Trinidad & Tobago vs. Antigua & Barbuda at 7 pm
– USA vs. England at 7:10 pm
