Miss St Kitts wins Miss Caribbean Culture 2014
(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- Outshining eight other young ladies across the Caribbean, Miss St. Kitts, Yarayni Morton was crowned Miss Caribbean Culture 2014.
Hundreds of people turned out to the Nevis Cultural Complex on Monday, August 4, 2014 to witness the ladies compete for the coveted title.
The talent, beauty, creativity and physique of the contestants blew away those in attendance.
At the end of the night the other contestants were no match for Miss St. Kitts, who not only won the crown but also won best interview.
First runner-up went to Miss Anguilla, Amethyst Davis, who captured the talent segment.
Miss Domincia, Francine Baron, was placed second runner-up. She was victorious in the swimwear category.
Miss Nevis, Jomelle Elliott, was placed third runner-up. She won best eveningwear.
The contestants were serenaded by 2014 Mr. Kool contestant, Rohan Jeffers with the performing talent he displayed on the evening of the Mr. Kool show. Jeffers played the saxophone while the contestants were being sashed. The queen was crowned by Mr. Randy Jeffers.
At the end of night’s proceedings, Nevispages interviewed a number of persons who gave Jeffers and his committee high praises. Persons lauded Jeffers for his tireless efforts and encouraged him to continue making the pageant the success it has been.
Mr. Jeffers also received high accolades for the organization of the pageant, and especially for having it completed at a reasonable time.
