(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- During this past week, Nevis has seen a number of incidents that have left Nevisians in a depressed state of mind.
The latest is said to have occurred last night Thursday, May 8, 2014 when an establishment in Charlestown was robbed at gunpoint.
This publication has learnt that sometime after 9:00 p.m. the Royal Palm Entertainment and Sports Bar which is located at Main Street, Charlestown was robbed by three masked gunmen.
It was reported that the bandits entered the establishment and demanded money from the workers and patrons who were present at the time.
The owner, Mickey Slack told this media house that he was downstairs when the robbery took place. He further stated that the intruders were able to escape with a large sum of money.
This incident occurred hours after the shooting death of Clive ‘Uncash’ Walters of Bath Village.
Investigations into both matters continue.
