President of the St.John’s Community Improvement Club (SJCIC), Mr. Alsted Pemberton, earlier this week confirmed that the annual Kite flying competition, hosted by his club, is definitely on for Good Friday-Friday 25th March.
The action will commence at 12.00 noon at the usual venue—the FLATS in Cole Hill.
Participants will be eligible to win prizes in the following categories: Biggest Kite, Best Flying Kite, Most Creative Kite, Best Designed Kite and the Best Book Leaf Kite.
Registration fee is $5.00.
Other attractions will include the sale of Traditional Easter foods, domino and cricket competitions, bouncing castle and music. Vendors are welcomed for a contribution of only $50.00.
