(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- Kashma Evelyn of Spring Hill graduated from The City University of New York, Bernard M Baruch College where she completed her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Corporate Communication with double minor in Marketing and Economics. In doing so, she attained a 3.9 GPA, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
While attending Baruch College, Kashma was very diligent about her school work. She was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma and Golden Key Honours Societies. In her sophomore year at college, she received the Solomon Toubin Memorial Scholarship in Arts and Science, all her hard work and dedication really paid off. Kashma excelled not only academically but also in various extracurricular activities/groups; she served as the secretary for the Caribbean Students Association group.
Her love for home country St. Kitts and Nevis was further acknowledged last year when she was honoured at the International Students Academic Excellence Award Ceremony. This ceremony recognized international students at Baruch College who maintained a GPA of 3.9 and above. Kashma received both medal and trophy at the auspicious occasion.
When asked how she felt about being such a success on graduation day she said “this moment is one that I have been looking forward to. I owe all my thanks and praises to God on whose promises I always stand,
