For World Ocean Day students and teachers from NISS volunteered at a beach cleanup at Pinney’s Beach. The team collected 4 bags of trash, and two students also did an in-water snorkelling and cleanup.
After the cleanup, marine biologist and founder of Blue Conscience, Ms. Alessandra Polo, taught the students about sustainable fishing and marine life. Finally, the team enjoyed a dip in the ocean!
