The SDA Jets, made it their first victory in three games, when they defeated the Calypso team on the evening of Saturday 12th October, at the ET Willet Park in the exciting Sports Department/Development Bank Tape Ball Cricket league.
It was game one of the night and the Calypso team won the toss and elected to field first.
Jets got off to a smooth start but then lost several crucial wickets and eventually got to 86 for 5 in their allotted 10 overs.
The big question was if that total was enough.
The Calypso men found themselves up against a determined and steady bowling attack from the Jets and except for the Captain, Hakeem Harvey, no other batsman got into double figures. They eventually succumbed at 63 for 5 when their 10 overs were completed.
