A ceremony was held at the Orchid Room of the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park on Thursday, 25th April to honour the champion athletes who participated in the annual Interprimary sports meet for 2024. The ceremony was well-organized and led by Ms. Nichola Fraser of the Education Department. It included an invocation by the Director of Sports, Jamir Claxton, and brief remarks from the Permanent Secretary of Education and Sports, Ms. Zahnela Claxton. Ms Londa Browne, Deputy Principal Education Officer, Ms Zahnela Claxton, and Mr Jamir Claxton presented the awards.
The Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Troy Liburd, also graced the event with his presence. The awards were presented to the following class champions:
– KG Females: Jh’deira Mc Pherson-CPS-12 points
– KG Males: Jorhon Isles-STPS-12 points
– Grade 1 Females: Shevonne Browne-IWPS-15 points
– Grade 1 Males: Kalani Morton-STPS-18 points
– Grade 2 Females: Akilah Douglas-SJPS-20 points
– Grade 2 Males: Cilan Parris-CPS-30 points
– Grade 3 Females: Adira Wallace-JLPS-16 points
– Grade 3 Males: K’Shard Burton-EPPS-14 points
– Grade 4 Females: Rone Isles-STPS-18 points
– Grade 4 Males: Zakeem Bailey-CPS-17 points
– Grade 5 Females: D’mayah Largie-SJPS-22 points
– Grade 5 Males: JLPS-22 points
– Grade 6 Females: Janiah Mc Neil-CPS-22 points
