Recognition of athletes is a crucial aspect of sports development. While not every athlete may be entitled to lavish rewards, all athletes must receive acknowledgement for their efforts and achievements.
We should implement a tier system for such. One that includes exceptional achievements, national and regional achievements, consistent performers emerging talents and pioneers and special contributors. There must be established criteria for each tier.
Furthermore, measurable standards such as performance metrics, impact metrics and consistency metrics should be utilized to ensure a fair selection process.
This will help to set a positive precedent for future generations.
