As the Hard times Footballers headed slowly off the field, on the evening of Wednesday 14th December, their heads were noticeably drooping.
They had played creditably enough, but on the night, that was not enough.
They were in a must –win situation, versus counterparts, Bath, in order to qualify for the Festival cup in St.Kitts.
However, despite their best efforts, it was a scoreline of nil-all when the final whistle was blown.
