Word from the camp of the Highlights Int team, indicates that on Thursday night, for their encounter versus the Hard Times team at the ET Willet Park, they were missing at least three of their key players.
Whether that was an excuse or a reason, really does not matter, as the fact is that the Hard Times team, totally swamped the defending champions 6 goals to nil.
That must have been a disappointment for Harvey POMBEY BOY Stapleton, who interestingly showed up with the Hard Times coaching staff and loudly indicated to the team, that he had asked for six but he had changed his mind and he wanted seven!
The fifth goal was probably the best of the night, a one timer-driven from a good way out, from the boot of Javani Tyson, which left the goalie flat-footed and the crowd buzzing.
The final nail in the coffin, came in the form of a sixth goal, which came off the boot of Highlights defender, number 21, who in trying to clear the ball, inevitably sunk it home, to the chagrin of his goalie.
Final score Hard Times 6-Highlights nil.
The action continues at the ET Willet Park this coming Saturday and Sunday nights.
