(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- It was indeed a beach fiesta at Sunshine’s Beach Bar and Lounge, Pinney’s Beach yesterday Sunday, March 30, 2014 for Frisky’s 3rd annual Beach Fashion Fiesta and the launch of the LIME ‘Miss Black San’ Swimsuit contestants.
The Six (6) contestants were introduced by coordinator of Black San, Treasa Wyatt to the Nevisian public. Among the six was the reigning Miss Culture Swimwear, Cherissa Maynard who will also be competing on April 20, 2014 for the LIME Miss Black San Swimsuit title.
Miss Patricia Clarke, the reigning Miss Black San was also featured in the fashion show.
The contestants along with other models rocked the runaway showcasing outfits from some top local designers such as: Cavel Mills with Ziki’s Designs, Vaughn Anslyn and his design V Wear, Rifka Harding with Rif Raf Designs, Yejide and her NjamBi Designs, Chantel Brennan- Martin with Piece of Peace Unique Nevis Jewelry and Petal Newton with her Frisky Fashion designs.
Owner and designer of Frisky’s Fashion Design and Model Inc., Ms. Petal Newton wishes to thank all the designers, sponsors, models and all other persons who made the fashion show a huge success. She also shared the stage with Ms. Wyatt who used the opportunity to invite everyone over to St. Kitts for the LIME Miss Black San Swimsuit pageant.
Cherissa is hoping that she can follow in the footsteps of Masinda Nisbett and again bring the crown over to Nevis. During the years the pageant has seen Nevisian participants such as Sidamo Jones and Jomelle Elliot.
