Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 9, 2018 – Former Minister of Health Hon. Marcella Liburd on Wednesday hailed the Federation’s nurses as the local nightingales observed Nurses Week.
“I pay tribute to our nurses who take care of us when we are sick and who work hard and long hours under difficult circumstances,” said Liburd, chairperson of the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP).
Liburd, who is also the Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher 2 (Central Basseterre), said she “deeply appreciates the contribution that our nurses make to healthcare in our Federation and wish them a successful and productive Nurses Week 2018.”
