On June 27, 2024, the Right Honourable Dr Denzil Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs, travelled from Taipei to Asunción to attend the 54th Regular Session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS) in Paraguay.
He was joined by Her Excellency Ambassador Jacinth Henry-Martin, the Permanent Representative of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the OAS. The three-day event, themed “Integration and Security for the Sustainable Development of the Region,” was hosted by the Government of Paraguay at the Conmebol Olympic Center.
Members of the Saint Kitts and Nevis delegation included Hon. Denzil Douglas, Ambassador Jacinth Henry-Martin, Alternate Representatives Abdullah-Skerritt and Shanelle Simmonds, and Foreign Service Officer Jamela Davis.
