On Saturday 10th December, two Primary Schools football teams out of Nevis faced off at the Nevis Athletic Stadium.
It was the Aljay Newton coached team versus the Kerisha Powell team and they comprised the top players from the recent Primary Schools football tournament.

It was a keenly contested game and of significant note, was the fact that the Williams brothers from the St. James’ Primary School and the Taylor brothers from the Charlestown Primary School, were placed on opposing teams.
The crowd was into the game and was thoroughly entertained.
In the final analysis, the Aljay Newton team won the close encounter, 4 goals to 3.
