On Tuesday 17th January, well-known local sports commentator, Rudy Browne, made two significant presentations of Footballs, on behalf of entrepreneur, Moses Webbe.
Webbe who is based in England, but who owns the popular business places of MEM’S PIZZERIA and MOSES AUTO REPLACEMENT SERVICE, made a donation of Football to two local institutions.
The first presentation was made to Director of Sports, Jamir Claxton, who thanked Mr. Webbe for the kind gesture, noting that with the current hype in Primary School football on the island, the balls would be welcomed gifts to the schools.
A second presentation was made to Alex Claxton, Coach of the Bath United Football Club, who in thanking Mr. Webbe, indicated that this was not the first time that he had assisted the club, as he previously presented uniforms to one of the club’s junior teams.
He urged persons on Nevis to patronize the two businesses currently being operated by Mr. Webbe.
Rudy Browne stated that Mr. Webbe is an ardent sportsman and will continue to give back as often as possible, in assisting the youngsters in Nevis to develop.
